Geek culture has many myths and legends, ranging from fabled disks and cassettes containing unreleased sequels of beloved games to Easter Eggs found only within the code of early versions of certain titles.
The most well known of these legends, the Holy Grail, the Ark of the Covenant, The Excalibur of Geek mythology, is that of the lost E.T. Cartridges – arguably the worst video game in history - buried somewhere in the New Mexico desert.
Now, they’ve been hiding unwanted stuff out in the deserts of America as far back as 1923. When filming finished on Cecil B. DeMille’s The Ten Commandments, they worked out it’d be
